I International Training on Gender Equality

"Gender journey and young women empowerment programme 2022"
15-17th of September 2022, Göteborg, Sweden

The main goal of international training is to provide constructive knowledge and skills on gender equality in the education system to ensure early intervention in the perpetuation of prejudices and stereotypes. On the first international training we will improve youth and educators competences and gain new skills on gender equality, pay gap, equal treatment, family models, and gender roles questions and allow participants to be multipliers. In the frame of the partners meeting we will begin development of Educational Toolkit and Web-resource. Also, experts will have a discussion about the impact of gender equality and equal treatment in policy making, social life and interrelation with formal, non-formal education and learning processes in relation with SDG themes. Meeting will be based on norm criticism, 4R and active participation methods and it’s dedicated for active young people & educators. Training will provide necessary basic skills and knowledge of students and educators on gender equality and discover link between power relations and norms. We will combine norm criticism with other tools and methods (GET, the Staircase Models, or the 4R). Also we will conduct a meeting of partners and experts who will work on developing educational toolkits and web-resource as main practical outcome of the project.
